For my money, this is the best barber shop in San Diego! Their new location, just across the street from the old location, is spacious, clean, and well decorated. The staff are simply awesome! Reminds me of some of the great barber shops of my childhood, but better. I can definitely recommend John. Do yourself a favor, go there and find out what the pinnacle of barbering is like.

Mike was beyond amazing while I was in town visiting family I swung by the shop to get a haircut and beard trim. I can honestly say it was the best haircut I have ever got in my 30 years. Thank you Mike for your time and great conversation. Will be back fro sure next time we are here!

Pappy’s is hands down the best spot to get your hair cut! The barbers are super laid back and there’s always good shop talk going on. They offer you a drink from their fridge as you walk in and the shoulder massager at the end of your cut to top it off. You will feel absolutely amazing walking out of there!! This place took me as a walk-in, last minute. Mr. Rene shaved me bald professionally with the razor. Great customer service and professionalism.
